Founded in 2023 and based in Austin, Texas, Visible Solar is an emerging renewable energy developer and independent power producer specializing in the residential solar and battery markets across the mid-South US. With expertise in lease finance and tax equity, Visible seeks to deliver affordable clean power to low and middle income homeowners, and deploy these portfolios to mobilize optimal after-tax returns to corporate and individual investors. Together, these distributed energy resources enhance public grid stability and expand local power supply in a clean, pollution-free way.

Our Thesis
Several factors are driving rapid change within the energy industry, specifically significant demand growth (eg. data and AI initiatives), increased strain on the public electric grid as extreme weather events occur more frequently, and the widespread adoption of local, on-site energy generation. We see these market drivers as continuing, particularly to the extent that they are supported by US policy of renewable investment and production tax credits. These incentives undergird as much as 60-70% of system cost in some cases, which will serve as a "tipping point" in renewables adoption.
